Commercial insurance is a product targeted to legal and physical persons engaged in business activities.
Commercial insurance is flexible and has a wide insurance cover to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding clients. This is an integrated solution that contains the following types of insurance:
- property insurance;
- business interruption insurance;
- insurance of electronic equipment;
- liability insurance.
If you do not wish to opt for all of these types, you can also enter into an insurance contract for a specific type or types. Nevertheless, you have to bear in mind that the contracts for business interruption, electronic equipment and liability insurance can only be entered into with property insurance. All documents related to insurance contracts are provided in electronic format.
- The objects insured are buildings and immovable property.
- Without an additional insurance premium, some justified costs to the extent of up to 10% of the sum insured (up to €100,000) of the insured object are indemnified along with the proprietary damage arising from the insured event. The aforesaid costs are also indemnified in instances where the total amount of proprietary damage and listed costs exceeds the sum insured. You can examine the costs subject to indemnification in detail here.
Business interruption insurance
The damage arising from the interruption of business activities due to the insured event (loss of operating profit and fixed costs) and the justified additional expenses incurred in order to limit the damage are indemnified. Business interruption insurance helps to restore the economic situation of the company prior to the occurrence of the insured event.
Insurance of electronic equipment
We will indemnify the damage caused to the insured object – for example office and computer equipment – as a result of an internal electrical or mechanical failure, etc.
We will indemnify the damage caused by the policyholder by an unlawful action to third persons at the time of the possession of the insured object in the place of insurance for which the policyholder is responsible. The costs of the required legal assistance will also be indemnified. For example, the damage caused to a third person by snow falling off the roof of the insured building may constitute an insured event.
