Employer’s health insurance

The target market of employer’s health insurance covers entities entered in the Estonian Commercial Register.
Employer’s health insurance is voluntary insurance that complements the national health insurance system. The solution is meant for companies that want to offer additional benefits to their employees.

Employer’s health insurance provides employees with:

  • quick access to medical assistance for a fee, including telemedicine services;
  • health audit and prophylactic tests;
  • compensation of rehabilitation under the terms and conditions agreed in the contract;
  • extensive use of dental care services.

Employer’s health insurance provides employees with:

  • Why should you choose PZU’s employer's health insurance?

      Taking out health insurance allows you to motivate your employees and increases their satisfaction. Offering health insurance is also an additional bonus when you’re recruiting new employees.

      Since 2018, each employer has been able to contribute up to 400 euros per year in the promotion of their employees’ health without having to pay fringe benefits tax if the employer offers this option to all of its employees.

      PZU’s employer’s health insurance is very flexible when it comes to the selection of coverage and companies can combine a product that meets the needs of their employees. The only mandatory cover included in the plan is outpatient treatment.

  • Types of insurance

      There are different types of insurance cover that you can choose. You can only choose the ones that seem necessary to you. You must keep in mind that choosing outpatient treatment cover is mandatory. You can ask our consultants for advice if necessary.

       

      Outpatient treatment We compensate the co-payment for visits and consultations with family doctors and medical specialists and the cost of tests, analyses procedures and day care that are medically indicated and prescribed by doctors.
      Hospital treatment We compensate the cost of medically indicated hospital treatment. This cost must be approved by us in advance.
      Rehabilitation We compensate the cost of the outpatient care and inpatient rehabilitation prescribed by doctors.
      Psychological and psychiatric counseling and treatment We compensate the cost of outpatient visits and counselling by psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and mental health nurses and the cost of diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric illnesses.
      Prescription medicines We compensate the cost of the prescription medicines prescribed by the attending physician.
      Dental care We compensate the co-payment for a visit with a dentist, incl. an endodontist, orthodontist, prosthodontist, parodontologist and dental surgeon, and the preparation of a treatment plan, dental care and surgery, incl. x-rays and anaesthesia, and oral hygiene services according to the selected indemnity limit. We compensate the treatment of dental injuries caused by an accident to the extent of 1,000 euros.
      Vaccination We compensate the cost of vaccination.
      Glasses and contact lenses We compensate the cost of glasses or contact lenses prescribed by a doctor or optometrist.
      Prophylactic tests We compensate the cost of tests and analyses carried out without medical indication and for the purpose of health checks or prevention of diseases.
