The ReisiTargalt website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not recommend travelling to Russia and Belarus unless absolutely necessary due to Russian military activities. Travelling to areas bordering Ukraine should be avoided completely. Estonian citizens staying in Russia and Belarus are advised to consider the importance of their stay and return to Estonia if possible.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Estonian citizens in Ukraine to leave the country as soon as possible and return to Estonia. Everyone is strongly advised to avoid travelling to Ukraine.
As of 25 February 2022, PZU will not offer insurance coverage for new contracts in Russia and Belarus and, because of the war, in Ukraine. The insurance contracts entered into before that are valid in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions, the terms and conditions of the respective type of insurance and the general terms and conditions and the special terms and conditions specified in the policy. Insured events that are not directly related to the military activities are treated according to the insurance conditions. However, if the loss event is directly related to military activities, it is unfortunately an exclusion.
